Lancer Alumni Legacy Award

The Lancer Alumni Legacy Award is awarded to extraordinary alumni who have enhanced the reputation of the school
by making a difference in the world through daily impact in their companies or chosen profession, communities, churches and for Orange Lutheran High School.

'17/'18 Award Recipient
Tony Harnack II '85

“I can think of no one who exemplifies the Orange Lutheran values more than Tony Harnack II ’85. He lives his Christian convictions daily in his capacity as Owner and President of Wellington Foods – a nutritional supplement manufacturing company in Corona, CA – where he leads a team of 175 employees with a fair and compassionate leadership style. The reputation that he has earned in his industry as a man of unwavering integrity is a rare commodity in today’s cutthroat work environment. Outside of Wellington Foods, Tony lives his faith through his commitment to his family and his church. He has served on the St. John’s Lutheran School Board for the past 9 years, and for the past 5 years he has held the elected position of Chairman of the School Board.  He is also currently serving as a Trustee of St. John’s Lutheran Church and as a Director of the St. John’s Lutheran School Endowment Fund. At home, he has been happily married for more than 20 years and he is a wonderful father to 3 amazing teens (2 of whom are students at LHS). As an alumnus, I know that there are many phenomenal success stories that have come from OLu, but I can honestly think of no one more honorable or better representation of Christian values than Tony Harnack II”
